The Steelhead One Fly Event was borne out of the idea that a two-day fishing event on the Deschutes River could not only raise money for steelhead enhancement projects, but also at the same time create a fishing event that fosters a relaxed competition and two days of steelhead fishing on one of North America's finest rivers.
